Very nice lady as it happens, no dance floor as such in the Nellie so a dance and jig about wherever you wish sort of place. She was 'dancing in place' near to the bar and I complemented her on her 'moves' suave bastard that I am.

Mrs AFC was chatting to another lady who is a high end nurse as she was, swapping war stories and all that. It is very much that sort of place, very good vibe.

All in all a very good day, to some extent I am still testing and exploring what I can do physically, still limited by my condition and my medication, but did more than I have been able to manage for some time.

Seafood festival down on the Quay today and tomorrow, food, produce and drink stalls from one end of the quay to the other, live music, all sorts going on. Weather not great, but dry and pretty mild.

Huge crowds, literally thousands of people. Fantastic turnout, great for the town and everyone seems to be having a good time. Fireworks over the water at 9:00pm then people staring to amble home.

Prawns are toxic.

Anyway her poor 16 year old kidneys are in a pretty bad way so we have to manage her with a special diet. Been like this for 2-3 years now, but she is doing ok, all things considered.
