I only call them when I’m actually ill.
Last time was 2019.
So I’ve a bit of a chest infection I can’t shake off, called the docs to see if they can prescribe some antibiotics over the phone as I know they’re busy with the sick lame and lazy.
“Yes, not a problem” they say.
“What’s your name?”
Dicksplatt says I.
“Address?”
Under a bridge I respond.
“Oh, sorry, you’ve been put down as an inactive patient. The last contact with you was 2019. We tried to contact you a few times since but had no response”
So I say, was that to contact me to get your clot shot and I ignored it.
“Yes, three times we wrote to you so we took you off our list as a patient.”
