Away Tickets

Went down to Arsenal today with a group of friends, although I was the only one without a ticket but I went for the day out.
The thing is I am a member and was unsuccessful in the ballot again. One of my friends was stood next to a lad (and his wife)he knew from years ago ( at school ) who is an Arsenal fan. He said what are you doing in the away end and his friend said my daughter works at Leicester City and got him 2 tickets. Naturally we are all pissed off with this and wonder how many more people get tickets this way stopping normal fans ?
I think it stinks.

Yes it bloody does mate. My away days ended at cup final due to health bla bla but I’ve been everywhere over n over so had my fill, plus I’m an old git,That said I still can’t stand reading and hearing stuff like this when real fans miss out , lcfc are a snidely bunch of crooks now it makes a mockery of being a member ,even as a season ticket holder in last few years pre Covid I had same story as yourself as u post it stinks. Keep trying tho mate and hope u had a good day out.

I went to the game as well there was four people behind me one of them was definitely a arsenal fan,
Also there were a couple of families with kids who were only about three years old, I’m about 4th group down and got the last two tickets available so some of these kids must have been going since they were about the age of one to have got more priority points than me.

I applied for Man Utd away tickets in the members ballot hoping that common sense may apply as I live 10 miles from the ground. Did it hell.
Looks like a season of Carabao and FA Cup games, I need to be able to afford the bloody tickets and travel.

That’s like many now mate , think loads just go to say they were there ,chap my age said footballs trendy now and I agree, when at school people took p outa me for following McClintock n jocks army with my odd job earned cash , I’ve seen many of em at games last 20 years, I pray bubble will burst but can’t see it. It’s who u know too now not how many games you go in some cases.
 
We gave up trying for away tickets with my 2 season tickets years ago, my season tickets are gone now as the club have no respect for the supporters, just after the money now…
