I hope not to be, will tread carefully there I think. Was rough when I went sightseeing!Careful you’re not in a bag post Napoli.
Not many direct flights so just went for it. Was in the home end all but one CL so we're risking it.Will Napoli want away fans?
Will Leicester sell tickets for Napoli?
Will we have to go on an organised trip?
There are more questions than answers.
Booking nowt for a while until travel details are clear.
Same goes for Warsaw & Moscow.
Don’t see point in going then tbh would you likely get attacked if you was just going for dinner and a few beers without any colours as I don’t wear any football stuff.I’ve been to Naples a few times as I had friends living there for 3 years. My suggestion is if going, you stay well away from the city itself. Go south and stay on the Amalfi coast or even on the island of Ischia.
If driving be very very careful. EVERY car even the good ones have scratches and dents. I’ve been all over the world and apart from Iran the Neapolitans are the worst. It’s 3rd world driving and It’s like they’ve all got a death wish.
The fans are completely nuts. They know everyone hates them especially in Italy so they act accordingly. I don’t think they’ll be bothered about Leicester but it’s the England bit that’s the problem. They actually hate the police more.
I got caught up there after a game ( I’d not been to it) in June 2000. It was a beautiful early Sunday evening and we were going out for dinner.
They’d just been promoted to Seria A. As we drove through one of the tunnels suddenly scooters came towards us in the wrong direction. ( it was a one way tunnel). In out in out, the girls on the back holding flares. Chaos. Out of the tunnel the traffic stopped. Suddenly the doors opened of a bus on the other side of the road. A massive rocket and I mean massive was shot from the open bus door and it went just over the top of our car. There were at least 5/6 guys on the roof of the bus as it moved away. One fell off. It was like a war zone. The funniest bit was the traffic warden dressed impeccably of course with peaked cap, white gloves and a baton trying to still direct everyone. When the rocket went over his head he threw down the baton and ran!!
I think though if you’re careful, stay out of the city and just come in for the game and straight out you’ll be ok. Just expect the unexpected.
