It probably doesn't meet the preconditions of the experiment. A quick look shows they're looking to adjust/monitor CO2 and acidity levels where necessary, which seems pretty harmless. Not that I'd let them 'experiment' in my neck of the woods - were I to live in a scenic bay.

This is where I live and is an area of outstanding natural beauty and fantastic marine life. There is a massive protest against it on Sunday.. The photo is of Godrevy lighthouse which is nearer to Hayle than St ives and has 3 miles of glorious beaches. It is apparently being done to offset carbon footprint
