Anyone watching the Wimmin?

Basically 120 minutes was probably too much for them.
Perhaps they should have penalties after 90 minutes?
Both sets of players struggled with the penalties.

I think nerves coupled with exhaustion resulted in at least half of them having nothing in the tank to strike a decent effort on goal.
The goalkeepers didn't make great saves because some of the kicks were so weakly struck that they could have done 5 press ups and still had time to save them..
Good luck to the women, but it is what it is and no matter how much the powers that be push the women's game it wil still never reach beyond a level of low to moderate interest imo.

Perhaps it is still early in the development of the womens game and in years to come considerably improve? Funny thing when I watch womens individual sports like athletics or cycling etc I don't think it looks inferior to me. I think one issue is possibly the way the media over egg the pudding

Athletics, Cycling, Football, Rugby, Marathons, Tennis etc, etc ANY sports 9/10 times the women are inferior.

What happened to that darts woman? She was supposed to eliminate glass ceilings not just break them.

I can watch athletics etc and watch it as competitive sport. 3 day eventing women and men compete together as it seems horsemanship can be pretty equal.
 
I've trudged through the jurrasic undergrowth of misplaced male superiority on here to say I hope our players at the KP show some of the bravery and character next season that I saw last night.

What bollocks. I have no time for liberalism. And can see male supremacy for the insecurity it actually is. All the females in our familly are strong and need no endorsement from men afraid of their position in life.Try living in this century lads, it won't hurt

Same here; all of my female relatives have got on just fine in this oh-so-unequal and oh-so-unfair world over the past 100 years, and several of them with whom I discussed the issue, genuinely resented and / or dismissed the pushing of "equality" as a load of bollocks.
So where are all these pathetic hopeless cases who need the sort of 'positive bias' that's currently being pushed from every direction, I wonder? And are the male pathetic hopeless cases being cast aside in their favour?

With regards to penalties, missed another, they all seem to be at the same height, easy for the keepers.
 
SO You Want EQUALITY for Mens and Women's football. Simple STOP making excuses TV Commentary "Bronze didn't know she was behind her" "Unfortunate to get caught out of possession" etc. Cry me a fucking river. If that was a bloke you'd all be in meltdown "He should know better at this level" and the press would savage him
