Anyone have dealings with the filth?

The claim was that hey had no right to enter a house without permission.
Glimmer pointed out that they did.

The fact they fucked up is secondary to the original claim. Think we all know they can’t demand to enter the wrong house if the address doesn’t match what is on the arrest warrant.
Undoubtedly the legals will make more from it than dickie.

Glimmer is wrong, how many more times.

The OB have no right to abuse people, they have NO authority over you at all, they pretend they have but thats what they do, they play on normal people ignorance and that is what you are showing.

Glimmer is absolutely correct. First thing I done after they left was to find out where I stand. Jackie is also correct. Whatever excuse they try to use they may have had the right to enter someone else’s property but not mine. That will be my absolute starting point. Nothing else matters. Hackney also makes a valid point that they could pretty much use any excuse in a court of law to argue they don’t need a warrant to enter the property. That’s when the arguments start in court. But my take on it is.
1. They have nothing on their database linking my property to anything that would allow them to enter my property with or without a warrant.
2. If the person was so high profile they have to turn up with (I don’t know specifically) but between 8 and 12 coppers then you would thing they would have gained a warrant.
3. If the person was so high profile they have to turn up in numbers you would think they would have done all the proper checks that they had the correct address in the first place.
4. If the person was so high profile why did the copper who walked into my property either turn on or off his body cam once I challenged him regarding trespass. (The wife said I put my arm out to stop him coming any further when he then clicked something by his breast pocket but I don’t remember putting my arm out)

Apparently they can - this taken from CAB site

However, they can enter without a warrant:
  • when in close pursuit of someone the police believe has committed, or attempted to commit, a serious crime, or
  • to sort out a disturbance, or
  • if they hear cries for help or of distress, or
  • to enforce an arrest warrant, or
  • if invited in freely by the occupant, or
  • under various statutes which give the police powers of entry (not necessarily by force) into a number of different kinds of premises.
. they wasn't in close pursuit.
. there wasn't a disturbance.
. no cries for help.
. if they had an arrest warrant, it wasn't for you or anyone at your address, so no right there.
. seems you didn't invite them in.
. statutes are bollocks, no excuse, no authority at all.(as to be consensual ).

Hes not right. It seems they've admitted this. You can't just crash into anyones house and say sorry l was mistaken, if you did it you'd be charged - they have less rights than you so they should be charged in person, each one of them as you would.

Just imagine, you and your mates doing it to a random person at his home, they'd be hell to pay.

Well I’ll go through the process and see how I get on. I’ll keep you all up to date. It’ll be interesting to see what angle they play and how far I get to take it. Not gonna lose any sleep over it. Think I’d be more pissed off right now if I’d have let them walk all over me. I guess until you’re in a situation like that you don’t know how you will respond until it happens. Just glad I stood my ground.
