If you intend to have a few in the town...try the Old Joint Stock by Pidgeon Park or my favourite, the Old Contemptibles alongside Snow Hill station... If you do stay behind after...Digbeth end behind new st station isn't the best choice.....BCFC zulus tend to hang round there...enjoy
