American Sweet Shops on London’s Oxford Street

Money laundering.
Strange to choose somewhere expensive and in the spotlight - but perhaps such a location allows a desperate property owner to accept any old shit, if it saves them a few bob.

That's right, most of them appeared during the pandemic when only shops selling food could open.
They replaced a lot of the tacky souvenir shops.
Something to do with a business rates scam apparently, & mostly owned by Afghans( not the dog)

I used to love Sherbert Lemons until I cracked my denture plate on one. I replaced it with titanium after that for higher strength and resistant to corrosion from sea water and chlorine.
Anyone who has tasted American chocolate would cross the street and pass by on the opposite side to avoid these shops!
