As you know, I find your obsession with "perspective" weird and flawed (though I agree with you assessment of some of the knicker wetting on here in recent weeks). However, it appears that you are viewing this in the here and now (things that are close look big) but that that assessment which you are disparaging may still turn out to be correct. In which case perspective may make you look like an arse.

As it happens I prefer to take things on their own merits & I think you will avoid such an outcome.

Agreed, buz. And as Our African Correspondent failed to take me up on my offer of £100 charity bet, if this does prove a false dawn my exposure to loss is negated.
