Since I spunked my Winter Fuel Allowance on relegation, inevitably and as surely as night follows day, City have revived their Europa League hopes and surged up to top half of the League and hovering on the fringes of European qualification.

This happens every faacking time!
I think such a generous sacrifice calls for some sort of liquid recognition and reward in the Secret London Pub next Thursday.

Carling!! Do you really drink that Soho? 😂

Well you can remember that!
Must have been the first time in your life you actually bought a round.

Madri is brewed in Tadcaster at the Molton Coors fizzy beer plant. Marketing guff designed to con the drinker into believing they are downing a product of sunny Spain 🇪🇸

Brewed under licence in the UK, G.
Same as Peroni (owned by Asahi) who subcontract draught beer production in this country to one of the main UK plants.
Always read the label....

BTW - I've only drunk Madri in a pub. There are no labels on the sides of the beer glasses in the two secret pubs where I drink it.
I ask the barmaid for a pint of Madri. She puts the glass under the tap and fills the glass.
Then she passes it to me and asks for money.
I pay her.
She gives me change.
I lift the glass to my gob and start to drink the contents.
At no time in the transaction is there a label.

I remember being very excited when I first saw Asahi appear here in the UK…. until I read the label. ☹️
