By lightning whilst at football practice last evening in Blackpool. This is so sad

A few years ago when I worked at home I glanced out of my bedroom window to see a bolt of lightning hit the ground three gardens away.
It was like a bomb with a massive sound and blinding light. It literally shook me (and the window) as I never realised the power of them.
Poor lad...

Lightning struck my bungalow last June

A lightning bolt landed in a field next to where I was driving past. Probably less than ten feet away Was like a bomb going off.

Must have been terrifying for those there. RIP.

My ex lives there and she was told by her friend who works at the Gazette that it was instant and he was horrifically burnt
