2nd best ever top flight season

This is already our second highest points per game total in the top flight, with two games still to go. 66 points over 38 games is 1.73 per game, 1962/3, adjusted for 3 pts for a win, was our previous 2nd best on a points per game basis at 1.71.

It’s been a great season, three more games to make it a fantastic one

That’s right ... doesn’t stop some on hear thinking we’re ‘dog filth’ and Rodgers not fit to manage Friar Lane.

Don’t they remember those years under Mclintock, Hamilton, Taylor, Levein, Kelly, Allen, Holloway and a whole host of players we’ve managed to erase from our memories and sadly some so bad that the stain of their crimes to football simply won’t leave us.

It seems you have erased Pleat from your memories 😜

Not entirely. At least then we had a few decent players ... but Pleat and his ‘C category’ approach to us as a club will never be forgotten. That and the birth of Ambitious Leicester Fans ‘ALF’.

Did he ever make a series ‘Cruising with David Pleat’?
