Felt a bit rough for the last couple of days, went Docs tonight and I’ve got shingles, the lumps are on my bloody face as well… 😕

241 today, saw the Doctor first as I thought the burn on my leg (did on my lads Harley when I was having a photo, had shorts on and touched the exhaust) was infected and that’s why I felt rough, he confirmed it was Shingles, he then sent me to the Nurse to clean the burn and dress it with a silver plaster, doesn’t rain but it feckin pours with me…
 
Try and get the anti viral drugs I lied and said I’d only had it a few days as there’s a cut off point probably to do with funding the drugs.
Worked a treat anyway so prices my point.
Was Sevilla away when I got the dreaded rash

Doctor gave me a box of Aciclovir, hope they do some good…
 
I had them once and went to a woman who had the cure of them.
She rubbed powder on them said a prayer and they disabuckinppeared.
I'll call round tomorrow and see if she can help
 
Mrs FF got shingles right after we got married 30+ years ago. Very nasty and extremely painful for at least a couple of weeks. I got the vaccination as soon as I was allowed, did not want to go through any of that!

Trying to go for a swim in the ocean (4/5 minutes away) to try and dry the feckin sores out matey…
