Cup final tickets

Less than 2 weeks til the game and still we’re none the wiser.

Trying not to be cynical (failing 😃)about what sort of allocation we’ll get once the usual mystery disappearing act happens to a certain amount.

Not looking forward to the testing and masks etc but if you get a chance to go to see your beloved team in a cup final what you gonna do?!

Such a shame there isn’t gonna be 80,000 there for such a wonderful occasion. I turned the snooker on and it’s completely full and they’re indoors.. bit confused how that’s alright but we can’t go to the football where it’s outdoors and everyone is wearing a face nappy anyway..
Anyway will get back to being an ostrich on this.

Hopefully we get full details very soon and there is a full 5,000 allocation. If so pretty much any away going fan will be alright you’d think.

Did you watch the Carabao Cup final? I think i counted about one mask being worn across the lot of them! No offence but football fans aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the box as a whole. I mean TV cameras panned to two lads on completely separate rows both with masks fully pulled down chatting and celebrating the Man City goal. If it wasn't outdoor (diluting the risk) then it would spread like wild fire!

The biggest decision I have is wether to watch it at home or hopefully my local boozer puts a telly up in the beer garden....
Up the City... 💙👍

Some of it. I was bored senseless at times as Spurs played like some fourth division side trying to defend for an FA Cup 3rd round replay.

If everyone is testing negative in advance and most are apparently vaccinated there can’t be much risk? Especially as you point out being outside massively dilutes said risk. I’ll say no more on the matter anyway as I don’t wanna bore everyone with a covid argument.

Are you still in the USA shane?
i checked the uk visitor requirements last week and it still says:
negative covid test before flying, another negative test within 48 hours of arriving, and 5 days isolation.
and that's if you are fully vaccinated like me!
So you'd have to plan on arriving at least 5 days before the game, even if they change the requirements and you've already bought a plane ticket.

Think there was another Shane on the old roof living in USA? Not me mate.

Boozer surely?
For some reason here in Newquay none of the pubs have bothered putting telly’s up outside for any of the sport, hoping one of my locals here in Quintrell Downs will as it’s on the BBC, he only has Sky and won’t spend any more on BT.

Can't see me getting a ticket with my 306 points. I'll be having an afternoon bbq and watching it in my pub shed. Anyone from the Corby area are most welcome.

Someone on Facebook boasting that he has ticket for £300.

Didn't take to kindly when I said "Willing to trust a Dodgy site to the tune of £300. Deserve to get ripped off."

I’m sure it’s the points system.

I know two people who have tickets, not physical but guaranteed. One as 2 and another 10.

these will be corporate I’m guessing there’s a thousand or so going that way. The rest of the 7k going to points and the 7k neutral ending up on the black market.

that means regular always will get a ticket and so will the highest bidets.

I might donate my ticket to Foxgolfer.

There is no fair way to divvy out 7000 tickets between the 40 odd thousand that would have gone had there been no restrictions. I've been a season ticket holder since the days of little but don't do away games much now due to family/ work commitments, I trust those that are lucky enough will make enough noise to make up for numbers. We can beat them 👍

Highest bidet? Do you need a ladder?

40k?
More like 20-25k for each team, due to all the FA old farts, etc

Anyone have any idea of how far down the priority points 7k will go.
I’m on 358 and expect to get one, lad is on 315.

carabou cup had an age limit didn't they? not sure what it was, whether it applies to FA Cup, or how old your lad is...
