I was in London yesterday doing what ended up as a 16 hour pub crawl to 26 different pubs in one day.
There was a huge mix of people in and around London. We saw one chap with a handmade sign saying end peace not war. He was an interesting looking chap.
Before that we went into a pub on Whitehall, just after 11am, that could well have been a meeting point for an EDL rally. Maybe Tommy was even in there.
There were a few Palestinian protestors on the steps at Trafalgar Square at 11am peacefully making their point. Later on we were around Piccadilly and close to Hyde Park where many protestors had gathered but decided not to do the walk. Others were still heading to join the march a couple of hours after it had begun.
We didn’t see any bother at all yesterday. It was obvious it would kick off somewhere though. It always does.
