I know its over.

Its been a blast. A fantastic 14 years since we plunged into League One.
Our story has captured the media around the world especially when we won it.
But nothing lasts forever.
No point fighting it.
Just lie back and accept it.
I knew when I made a solemn vow not to bet on relegation this season that relegation was a certainty.
Its like death in care homes in a pandemic - you can smell it a mile off.
Soak up the rest of the relegation season living in Forest's shadow.
And embrace Reading and Coventry away.
You've done it before and survived to tell the tale.
Shit happens. Its called football.
Our stardust years will still look unbelievably magical in 50 years from now.

We might have a barren 3-5 years whilst we reengage. But we won’t go down ( although Soho I’ll feel so much better when you make that short walk to William Hills ).
Seagrave as I said in another post isn’t a vanity project. It’s for the future generation Soho, not for us necessarily, but when we’re all looking down from above having a pint watching reruns of the 2015/6 season and our cup run in 2021 the new generation will be enjoying their moment in the sun.
By God we waited long enough. We’ve been very lucky

I missed the opportunity yesterday to print money.
At 20 mins in Arsenal were 8/11.

It made sense, it was a no brainer and yet I couldn't do it
 
If it is over it's not the end of the world. We have been in the second tier many times but always bounced back. What was embarrassing and humiliating was dropping to the third tier and all credit to NP for getting us straight back.

Seeing Tuchel and Konte squaring up today you wonder where all perspective has gone. It was only a league game ffs. Many of us on this board are of an age where there are bigger issues in life.
 
When I saw this seasons home strip I knew this was a relegation season.

I reckon you're talkin' out y'arse 'cos you've forgotten how shit it is. I don't recall 2004-2008 being a barrel of laughs. In fact, apart from 2013-14 the Championship has rarely been 'fun'. Maybe parts of Eriksson's first part-season & parts of 2012-13 but otherwise, sheeeeeeeesh. No cap on away ticket prices too.
 
Agreed. It's a relentless slog to places like Burnley and Blackburn and Coventry. Horrible league.
