Did all of them in LE1, over several weekends in 1988.

When I was at tech I'd frequent
Magazine
Saracens Head

One on Millstone Lane, payed darts there, forgot the name

Group of us dished out a few slaps many moons ago, at the Mag.
Were arrested at the R&D, throwing darts at each other.
Not proud.

First post by Bnet. The Loughborough. Was that on Churchgate? Became Peggotty's?
The Loughborough was a great pub.
Went through several name changes & rebrands eventually becoming the craphole it is now.
Noticed the other day that the Longstop/Churchgate pub has been totally gutted inside & is set to become retail.
Can't believe how Churchgate has gone from a vibrant street with good independent shops & busy at night to the shit tip it has become.
MLIR

King's Head.
Horsefair.
Longstop...The George...Tavern.. .Holyrood.... were the main places for our crowd.
Dirty Duck was real popular when it first opened.
Upstairs in the Standard on sunday nights.
The Loughborough was good for a while.
Belvoir bar and Fish and Quart were ok on occasion.
Upstairs in The Barley Mow was the place to be at one time.Bohemian,too..for a while.
These were all popular early 70's with people I knew.
All the others mentioned we might dob into if we were having a nose around but they wern't really our kind of boozer.

Mainly because of playing for a pool team rather than by choice.....

The West End, later to be The Pump and Tap.
The Horse and Jockey.
The Uppingham
Charney
City Arms
Woolpack
Meadows
Sanveygate Tavern
The Old Robin Hood
Spread Eagle
Generous Britain
The Black Swan
Dixie Arms

I don't know if any of them are left ?
