Saw her at the Jazz Cafe a while back. Superb sounding but honestly speaking, looking forward to seeing her handle some better material in the future.

We used to bump into an Asian lad/ bloke in The Helsinki/ bliss/ Streetlife around 1990 & for a few years onwards.Have been there a number of times over the years, but not in a while.

We used to bump into an Asian lad/ bloke in The Helsinki/ bliss/ Streetlife around 1990 & for a few years onwards.
He DJ' ed ( is that a word) around town,mainly soul & Acid jazz type of stuff.
I know he moved to London & worked in the shop at Putney.
I last bumped into him at a Marlena Shaw gig at Shepherds Bush ,years ago.
You seem to attend a few nights out down here, so I just wondered.
