excellent article

I've not watched the video but I'll tell you something, l learnt long ago that doctors in general only work off a computer screen. They don't make shouts about illness without being told by a central computer. This may come as a shock to you, you will say I'm a conspiracy theorist but it's a fact. I have first hand experience of this on many occasions. I would have died two years ago if l trusted my doctors, I knew this and made it my mission to stay alive. I've said this before on here oncologists did 8 hours training on diet, now I believe it's 16 hours, that's in 8 years. You probably won't believe me as per normal but your diet dictates your health, it's the single most important thing to fixing yourself, now crunch them numbers.

GP's are basically useless, they are semi skilled odd job men, ok so they know more than most people about health but know less than someone who wants to learn. You put them on a peddle stool and treat their words as gospel, same as solicitors and policemen. They don't know more than you, you just expect them too because you are frightened to look into this magical world that is really open to everyone.

Having the title "doctor" means very little on its own, some doctors are brilliant most are just getting a good wage as pharmaceutical salesmen because that is the best description of them. They are there to get you reliant on their product, sythasised drugs !

I have a law suit going on for misdiagnosis, not by one doctor, by five. Even when l finally got referred to the Spires they got it wrong, twice. My wife an ex nurse had to correct a professor there on my first appointment, unbelievably.

One of the first videos I was referred to was called "Don't fear the cancer, fear the doctor" this wa one of the truest things I've ever heard.

What I'm saying is don't let job titles let you believe they know more than you, some do, most don't.
Apart from the peddle stool, which made me laugh, I don't disagree with a word of that. You've both been through a very harrowing process and it's great that you have followed your own research and gut feelings to get the best outcome. Maybe your experience has also coloured your take on Covid?

I've done my internet research Apparently there was a FOURTH "wise man" at the nativity, but he brought fruit cake, and was sent away.

Prove me wrong.

What an unique perception to have.

I know 3 doctors among my family & friends, & have forwarded your perception to them.

When they get back to me, I’ll let you know what their experience is.

When I visit my doctor he/she is always tapping away at the computer screen in between looking at me.

Now, there are may be two things possibly going on. One option will be chosen by all right-thinking people. The other by conspiracy theorists.

Option 1. They are looking at your notes for your past medical history/ checking on appropriate treatments, medicines and dosage and allergenic etc conflicts/ updating your notes

Option 2. They are taking instructions from an all powerful secret cabal on how to continue fucking you over.

Tough choice, but I'm inching towards Option 1.

Medical practitioners, from the humblest care assistant to all but the most senior consultants will work within NHS Guidelines.
This dictates pretty much everything that they do, it is pretty much pro-forma. It allows doctors to diagnose and treat patients without doing anything as difficult as seeing them or listening to them, I have direct, personal experience of this since April 2020.

The guidelines will be what they are looking up, following them is more important than actually treating the patient and addressing their concerns. For GPs and junior doctors, this is how it is done.

Wait for it. They lack a sense of humour you know.
Welcome to some sort of gang, that only exists in someone else's head.
They are so open-minded...

Yeah. NHS Guidelines have nothing to do with patient care at all...

They reduce patient care to a formula that can be applied to all, no longer any need to examine or even see patients, just look up the most obvious symptoms and prescribe appropriately.

Case in point.

My total cholesterol levels are at the very top of normal range. This is skewed by the fact that I have a high level of triglycerides which is systemic. This was noted in a recent patient review, my GP told me that he wanted to put me on statins, ie pro-forma treatment for high cholesterol.

I had to explain the familial hypertriglyceredemia would not respond to statins and that the fibrates that I have been taking for 20+ years were doing a fine job keeping the problem controlled.

We mostly all judge a situation by our personal experience (I'm excluding here those who live their lives by being suckered in by crackpot internet videos) and all I can say is that all the interactions I've had in recent years (and at my age there's been a few) with nurses, doctors and consultants have not involved "painting by numbers" off a monitor. In fact the last consultant I saw didn't even have a monitor in the consulting room. If you are reasonably articulate and engage with your health professional, they usually find no need to look at a monitor for clues as to what the fook might be up with you.

Kinda know what you mean, Dorset. In my experience, when you call them you can tell that the first people you talk to are reading from a script and have no medical knowledge at all.

Your GP should spend more time looking at his monitor - that should all have been there on your case notes. Bad apple in a barrel (him not you).

That's just initial triage. I've always explained my problem and I've always had a doctor call me back, and then an invite to call in, if necessary.

I went into my cancer treatment, spring 2017, believing the usual things. A bit of dark humour along the 'your oncologist tries to kill you, the rest of the hospital tries to keep you alive' style but largely trusting.

My treatment was primarily based on radiotherapy, 4 rounds of chemo were added on the 'belt and braces' logic. The first round of chemo made me very sick, very quickly and I refused the following 3 rounds. My consultant had reservations but agreed.

The process still very nearly killed me, taking 6 months before I was up and about. As soon as I was fit enough I had surgery to remove secondaries from my lymph nodes in my neck.

That was almost exactly 4 years ago and despite surviving was a life changing event. That was my experience.
Tell me how knocking your immune system out is the best remedy for anything !

I bet there’s a certain group on here who would “fact check” and say it’s good for you.

Liar, but crack on.

I knew one of the daft lads would say something like that.

Mrs AFC is a high end nurse practitioner, in general practice for 20+ years. She has run nursing services in two west London group practices, both very highly rated. Much of what I have written earlier comes from her.

I have had rather too much contact with the NHS in the last few years and the experience is really mixed.

Treatment from Charing Cross for my cancer was first class overall, really not a nice experience but they got it done and the unit was of a pretty high standard.

Being hospitalised at Poole hospital for life threatening atrial tribulation was little more than a joke, treatment was perfunctory and I was out of the door without ever meeting my cardio consultant. There was no follow up, even when I asked for help I was not allowed to speak to him, a visit being totally out of the question. I went private and had the procedures I needed done on that basis in Bournemouth.

I have been having more issues in recent times and the NHS response both from my GP and the cardiac unit has been pitiful, nothing but delays and obfuscation. Once again I have my wallet out and am undergoing a full workup, trying a few different things prior to more tests next week. Hopefully adjusting (reducing) medication will solve the issue, we shall see.

What an incredible person you think you are. Always a derogatory comment aimed at others. Always know better, but it’s always the way of your masters. We just call people like you by the simplest straight to the point way, probably the word “twat” fits best.

I’ve said before I have 9 members of my family in the medical profession. So I do talk about various stuff which I would never repeat. Isn’t that odd if they are working in a job that is meant to fix your illnesses eh !
What they do and it’s a worldwide system, is totally ignore your immune system and get you hooked on synthesised drugs which always effect you negatively down stream. Always read the “possible side effects”. They actually ARE the side effects, fucking you in the small print as ever !!!!
If clever bollocks puts his faith in this system he’ll get what he deserves.

In 2017 at the start of the cancer treatment I was still woefully out of touch and uninformed. The 'usual' treatment, minus most of the chemo, sorted me out, more or less, but at some cost. I am much more aware these days.

In fact, I was going along quite well up until the AF that started in April 2020, it has been a real fight since then, mostly with the health service, rather than actual heart disease.

You sound jealous.

Yeah, you keep telling us. Must be wonderful for them to know how little you think of their work. Unless they get all their knowledge from you, Mr Fucking Know-It-All.
Bnet must be the black sheep of the family due to his lack of medical knowledge.

Hello again folks. It's "twat" here. I've had yet another busy day being an "incredible person" and I've just got back from the footy and caught up with the fun.

There were days when we didn't poison ourselves with synthesized drugs and instead we let our immune systems get cracking on keeping us alive. Those days were also marked with life expectancy some twenty or thirty years less than our drugs-addled present days. Clean drinking water played a part but only a part.

So, on the basis that these quacks, snake oil salesmen, illusionists and poisoners are adding several decades of useful life into humans, who previously only had their unadulterated immune systems to fall back on, I'm off the The Cube near the racecourse first thing tomorrow (Thursday) for my Covid booster. (So long as no-one has glued themselves to the road). If I don't reappear within the next week or so we will know that our emeritus professor of modern conspiracy theory-driven community medicine was right after all. And if I DO reappear, all hale and hearty, perhaps someone will be so kind as to say who it is that is my "master" (excluding Mrs Haardaarss).

You’re fast becoming the biggest twat on this board.

Out of all the shite in this post one thing stands out even more ridiclious than the rest and that’s saying something “clean drinking water”.

The definition of stupidity -
Knowing the truth, seeing the evidence of the truth, but still believing the lie.

Keep taking the drugs sunshine, it’s saving you from reality.
