Obscure Leicester players thread

At 5.33 the camera pans across the ground to the Main Stand/Filbert St corner to where are several spectators on the roof of the gents toilet, and right at the forefront there sits a 13-y-o Bruin. :giggle:

Jumpers on shoulders

I think he’s been mentioned but the greatest of them all has to one James Pearson. What an incredible accolade to play just one shite match for us but you still, and always will, go down into the realms of history at our club. Well done that man.

What a fantastic video, it's just before my time but just seems of it. The excitement as a kid when you knew you are playing Forest back them. The buzz you got as a kid with everything about the day as it was always a day out not just the match.

That Rotherham cup game that Micky mentioned - my distinct memory was running from my school home to the Monsell and my mates ask me why l was running as it only 4 o'clock, l told them it was gonna be a sell out so l needed to get there early, and it was, the gates got shut !

I remember being in the queue at the top as a 10 year old for the Forest game in '67, we could hear Forest singing in the top. It was new to us and one of the older lads said to us, "don't worry, we're going to do them when we get in". My first game without an adult actually, hooked !!!

so it was, l always had it in my memory bank as being quoted at 39,000 and wondering how you couldn't move and loads locked out. You knew it was a sell out when the kids sat on the running track .

I can remember leaving Shilton at 5, parked up in that crap car park next to Gimsons, was it a boat club or summat?, dad always parked on there and we got there about 5.45 and it was nearly full, managed to get in the decker by about 7
