What no thread about the England game?

Tippy tap across the back line. Nobody with vision just runners so it goes back and forth and back and side...........you need a De Bruyne to make this enjoyable.

Reading this thread and the report on BBC I don’t think I missed a thing in the second half. The gig on the other hand was very enjoyable.

Cross between Interpol and Editors?
Based on 30 seconds of listening to two tracks.
I don’t know Interpol so I can’t really comment. I saw TSRC at Tramlines the weekend after freedom day and enjoyed them. Been toying for a few weeks about whether to go to the gig or the game so I decided to do both.

The fact you left at half time to see a band you hardly know says it all, Daggers. Sounds like the right decision though as I caught the second half and it was turgid. We were lucky not to lose.

To be honest, I thought it was a bit like watching the City.

Tippy tappy from side to side, little energy or creativity, no cutting edge.

This modern 'everybody does a bit of everything' 4-3-3 doesn't suit, our players are not good enough.

Last night was the equivalent of playing Gerrard and Lampard together.

Foden, Mount and Rice together, the fans wanted it, but they couldn't click or gel together.

As the only holding player in front of a back 4, Rice had his hands full and was unable to dominate as he does with Phillips.

Mount and Foden are talented but essentially 'bits and pieces' players, they do very similar things. Grealish was our best player but was wasted on the left wing, needs to play as a '10' but Southgate doesn't do that.
