Every so often you get 2 teams give you a reminder of a good old fashioned game of football.
The clipboard and script is thrown away and you get a high energy contest with sharp tackles, mistakes, edgeiness, controversy, great play and a thoroughly absorbing watch.
Imo it just made a pleasant change to watch a game that didn't seem to be played like a game of chess.
