We might be broke, but...

This looks like being our best chance yet, given the strength of the current squad, of upsetting the elite again so, if we can somehow find a few quid from down the side of the sofa to bring in a quality striker I might be tempted to have couple of bob on us.

What price are we, anyway? I know of someone who bought a house on his winnings in '16 but assume the bookies have wised up a tad since then.

We are 40/1. Man City are 1/2, Liverpool are 10/3, Man Utd are 7/1 and Spurs are 19/1. Yes, you read the bit about Spurs right...

I think in a few weeks a gap will emerge and the top few teams will break away.

I think there will be 5 or maybe 6 teams in that breakaway. Liverpool, the two Manc teams, Spurs and ourselves. Maybe also Everton.

I think Villa’s charge will be ended soon enough.

One of these teams will win the grand prize. One or two will miss out on Champions League football for next season.

Squad is not strong enough, a couple of key players injured and it will be a repeat
of last season😁

I might have a cheeky tenner on them. I’m also considering a few bets on us, league, Cup, Europe and some doubles and the treble.
Had a few quid on Everton at the start of the season to finish top 4. The cash-out offers after 4 games soon vanished, mind... ;)
