Two years ago today

Signed some good players but as we saw on Thursday evening Rodgers is a nearly man. He needs to win some silverware which I don't think he is capable of in English football.
 
We haven't been out the top 4 since August 2019.
Since he's been manager only Man City and Liverpool have more points.*
He has the best win rate of any Leicester manager over two seasons in the top league.*

*That includes the post lockdown meltdown last season.

We lost to some farmers the other night, get rid.

Something had to go, top 4, FA Cup or EL, take your pick.
We were playing third choice players in some positions because everyone else was broken or recovering. We've been running on fumes for a few games now, Rodgers has done an amazing job to keep us where we are with the juggling of resources he's had to do. The fact that almost every player that has been thrown in has looked as if they knew what their role was is surely down to good management by Rodgers and his staff.

I have a bit of a conspiracy theory with Rodgers. He knew when Maddison booked sick the Euro league was finished for this year. He told the management team that he was going to have to prioritise the League then the FA cup due to the injuries.

I wondered if that did not happen last year with our dropping into the Europa league due to the fact that our sguad was not big or good enough for a full bash at the full CL.

Either way the boss did not seem to be bothered by the non top 4 finish last season or this years europa exit.

I think with the good ship Leicester City , we need a bigger boat.
