I thought about 6 months ago it was announced that Dexamethasone (and possibly one other) would reduce the amount of infected patients dying from Covid, it doesn't seem to have done much good. Also last week a further two medicines were spun as helping infected people stop dying from Corona Virus Covid-19.?
To be honest I am shocked the number of folks dying from Covid just recently and now it is being leaked about a Brazilian variant.

But when you check all the national sources, those figures don't ring true. I also can't find the FOI request and answer.
Of course it is also worth pointing out, that the whole point of the response to the pandemic; is to try to avoid people with pre-existing conditions dying in huge numbers. We already know they are most at risk...
