"The situation with Sadio, what the ref did tonight I have to say I don't understand," Klopp added. "For me that was something personal because he dealt with the situation with Sadio, which was a clear foul, like he was a diver or whatever.”

His team mate Salah has been officially warned by the FA about his conduct on the field with his constant feigning in the penalty box. So I pressume Sadio has taken over his duties.

Funny how this season Liverpool haven't been rewarded with half the penalties that they had last season.

Will, I agree, he looked dodgy from kick off, somehow he didn't follow the play correctly, he just didn't look right.
FWIW I think some European Refs should be given PL games, they don't stand for the very small collisions whereby players act and scream like they have been shot by a sniper. Let the game flow.

Is that true he’s been officially warned. I really hope he has. Total cheat

Yes, the Referee Association complained to the FA about the problem after numerous approaches by clubs and officials. It has certainly worked as he has to stay on his feet more now, although Klopp was not happy with the caution.

Some sort of exchange system with a given number swapping countries might give them, the top refs, some sort of experience of how standards and interpretations differ...
The EPL is supposed to have a reputation for being more 'robust' than those on the continent but whether the number of non British players (now over 50%) or what that seems to be no longer be the case...
If rugby players screamedat every touch fans would need ear defenders.

Apart from the fact that she was very good, is there something in a players psychy that curbs their abusive aggression because it's a woman ?
I have seen a few games with female officials, and I might be wrong but I do think the men have a tad more respect because it's a female.

Didn't work for Keys and Gray... 😉

I remember their conversation. At best it was extremely patronising. Was it spoken with intent ? Or just a badly judged attempt to be appealing to what I presume was a predominantly male audience.

The off-screen bit which really got them in trouble can't have been for their laddish audience. Are they still working in the Middle East? Never see them on any streams...
