I think if you can get a season ticket holder to buy you a ticket you might get a point & on the ladder for future sales (as long as you or they register you with a digital account... and are happy with mobile tickets) but, yes, it is pretty draconian & ultimately self defeating in the long run.

I cant be arsed. I wanted to take my Father In Law, but he isnt very mobile, so I suppose I would need a visa to drop him off outside. To much hassle, a sign of the times.

I know what you mean, a friend was looking for tickets for him and his two lads for the Hull game at the last minute. Luckily for them I got so bogged down going round the houses trying to sort it I just ended up waving a white flag after losing over an hour of my life opening doors only to crash against brick walls.

Just having a point wouldn't be enough as they don't go beyond selling to Fox members. It would still need general sale if you have one point.
