Projection as an instrument of propaganda probably goes back to that well known socialist Joseph Goebbels but came to the fore in modern times in the writings of Chicago based right wing activist Saul Alinsky.

Snap.... I’ve experienced the same it’s very distressing people who have been fortunate not to encounter these scumbags in everyday live can count themselves lucky. Not sure what the answer is they are a law unto themselves and well protected by the authorities council/police etc
