I was at Granby Halls and also DeMont around 1971,both brilliant,certainly feel priveliged to have seen them at their peak

Grandy Halls was a massive 10,000 audience experience, saw Deep Purple and The Who there

DeMont with the smaller concert hall atmosphere must have been magic for bands like The Who and Ziggy Stardust shows

Saw a fantastic documentary film on The Who a few weeks back on American television..... The Kids are Alright. Amazing insights and great footage the band as teenagers in 1960's England........Carnaby Street, etc

Brilliant film, I've got the DVD, there is a section on it where they separate Entwistle's bass on Baba O Reilly, really shows what a brilliant player he was.
