The Snivelling Arab Is Still Bellyaching

About missing out on a move to Arsenal in 2016.
Still reckons he lost 2 years from his career "having to stay with Leicester".
This is the same Leicester who turned him from a £350,000 player into a £60 million player.

I've not read the article as it would just make me feel sick but I can see it's in the mirror.
I I'm guessing it's more b***** big six agenda if you ask me. Trying to make Arsenal fans feel better even though they know our team is much better at the moment and as been for quite a while.
It also fits in with trying to unsettle our present players by definition i the article gives the impression they can do better.

Fuckem, I like to think what Eggs said the other day is the reality.

Likely to be the only winning player in the current polls that's accompanied by a nasty taste and a high-pitched whine 😞

Look at the facts. Arsenal are a big 6 club and so pay the big bucks.

They are also pretty crap so if he was there he’d most likely be in the starting 11 more often than not.

Nobody was forcing him to stay at Leicester. We didn’t hold a gun to his head when he signed his big money contract with us.

If there’s anyone to blame it’s your agent.

In terms of enduring popularity, no way.
But putting aside his snivelling and fondness for airports for a moment, he was the most skillful City player ever who also played a crucial role in the Club's greatest ever achievement.
So I'll expect him to win the M or the S vote, yes.

Sometimes I've hated the Arab when he failed to track back. Or tried something flash in our half - lost the ball - and gave the oppo a chance on goal.
And effort and doing the dirty stuff when needed counts a lot for me in these votes.
I would put McLintock, Gary Mac and even Ian Marshall ahead of the Arab when it comes to the vote.

When BR stresses the sort of person he wants at the club, he is exactly what he would not want.
He is the sort of person who, when signing a contract is always already looking at the next one; he's the ultimate 'in it for the money' type.
Maybe I'm being harsh as I was never brought up in a poor environment but many other who were actually realise it is about love of the game and adopting a team spirt in what, ultimately, is a team game.
A shame that his talent our wide has never really been replaced here but the employment of Ric out wide this week may be the first glimpse of a possible solution...

In the mardy cunts defence, isn't it just the Mirror recycling the original interview in honour of him reaching 30?

Or is there a new interview doing the rounds?.

Well, he passed NFP / Steve Walsh's personality test, didn't he?
Seems like a case of late-onset billy big bollockness, caused by a bit of success

No, it's not just skill. Which is why I put the bit about the title win in too. You know, The Immortals and all that... ;)

Nah the same one. Just lazy journalism.
As I said in my original post. There is an agenda in the media to say we are not good enough or big enough to hold onto our best players. Fuck em

I never heard NP describe his ideal person and the RM in those days was a different animal, needing to feel his way in the big world, so yes, what we see now is how he felt he needed to be to take full advantage.
Good job the rest of top level football is not so cynical.

It was interviews with Walsh that tended to be the ones (out of the three of them) that gave all the detail about how the breadth and depth of their scouting included loads of research into players' character, personality, etc. Northcroft's book did too.

That was the great thing he didn't need to track back as Simpson was there.

Our most talented player ever in my eyes anyway. We wouldn't of won the league without him. As great as this side is now he would walk into this team now. Imagine having Barnes, Maddison and Mahrez.
