The Next Level

According to the Mercury, Rodgers told Chilwell he needed to join Chelsea to take his career to the next level.
Shows a lack of people management skill to me.
Wonder if he's now had a similar chat with Madison?

Why does it show a lack of people management skil. Its the same with an ordinary job if someone wants a better Job, he moves to a better company.

Just seen the story. Also being reported in The Independent.

Wanted him to stay but was just being honest with him?
"He said Chelsea was the perfect club for me to play at - he was desperate for me to stay at Leicester, but he did say that Chelsea was a good club for me to come to and improve myself."

He scored one and got an assist in his first game, clearly Rodgers was correct. ;)

I was also surprised at that, but then again, he knew that a much stronger, talented & experienced left back was on his way.....

I still think it will turn out sour for Chilwell at Chelsea.

There is too much missing from his game, to be worthy of the "next level".

You are right, I think Leicester was his level. Also Ashley Cole had a lot to do with his departure
He convince him of how the regime worked and how it was like a big family at Chelsea
Chilwell sought his wisdom before asking for s move, should of asked Drinkwater first
