Well done the Baggies. Oh dear. This Wolves side are slowly falling apart. I think they made a major mistake in selling Jota. Also Doherty. Their replacements aren’t the same although I see Hi Ho scored today. But to lose again at home isn’t good against poor opponents. Losing Jimenez is big as well. Bit like we’d be with Vardy I suppose
 
They’ve pretty much had the same 11 week in week out for two years now. No depth as you say. Losing those two is dangerous. Silva is going to take time to come to fruition if he ever does. Why sell Jota? £45m. He’s only just turned 24.

What a shame.

I did think the sale of Jota was an odd one. It wasn’t enough money in my opinion although I’m sure the player had his head turned by being at a bigger club and a fatter pay packet, I was very surprised Wolves didn’t dig their heels in for an extra 20 million or so.
 
Top and Susan Whelan run the show with us and they do it very well. Because their sole concern is LCFC. I have no idea who runs Wolves except that Mendes seems to have a lot of say and his sole concern is his cut as an agent.

Totally agree daggers, but you speak to wolves fans & at the time they said it was brilliant money for a player who isn’t at all consistent ( their words ). They said he can be great for a couple of games then go missing for 5/6 games.
Found that opinion very strange because every time I saw him he was brilliant & not just against us.

T'internet suggested at the time that Atletico will have got a slice of the sell-on to the scallies too
