Struggling to understand the inclusion of Ted Jelly, whose career seems unremarkable other than he played right back in the '49 Cup Final? I guess there's a general shortage of "J's"!

I know I've already name-checked Stringfellow and Gibson, but I do know Julian Joachim. He is a mate of a mate and a good bloke. Tony James came to my wedding and I drank plenty of tequila with him. He talked loads about the goal against Oxford. Said at the time it was a relief to score the goal and that he obviously knew it was important; but he has been surprised over the years about the continuing impact it had. He meets Leicester fans all the time, who can't thank him enough for the goal.

He did'nt play many games for us you might as well have put Ron Jackson the school teacher who played consistently just after the war

Tony james with "that" goal was pure elation , but have gone Julian based on that goal at forest against pompey , the Barnsley one for the crowd reaction and the pass in the build up to walshe's goal at wembley against the sheep.

Got you some fudge as well, was looking forward to a few beers in the Shire of Leicester and bumping into Fowlpenlooney for a natter again, last time I met him was at funeral in Anstey and it was cups of tea only after... 😳
If it does transpire that Shilton Conny club can let 100 in then I'll be on after 21st June but I ain't holding my breath. haven't seen Fowlpen on here for a while
