RE in our championship winning year, when asked if we could win it, said "no" every single time throughout the season, then when we'd won it said we deserved it and had clearly been the best team all year.

Coverage I watched did the same. Andy Townsend and Ian Darke spent 80 minutes talking about Arsenal and how tired they’d be from their European travel and how much they’d miss The Clown when he went off injured...and how signing Apartey would take them to top 4 level...then the goal went in.
Darke and Townsend immediately then reverted to ‘you could see it coming’. Then back to Andy King (filmed on a webcam in his home from the 1990s) and Keown. What a combination of summarisers. I haven’t seen that much energy on screen since Cocoon!
