That cross,

Weller

Roofer
Unders cross was sublime, to make a pin point cross like that while running at pace absolutely first class.
Think there is more to come!

I hope so, one good cross won't make him a legend, but it might.

There will be hiccups along the way, but when we have our complete first team available; we are good enough for great things.
I think you may be right. Imagine being able to play away with a back three of Fofana, Evans and Soyuncu and with Ricardo Pereira and Castagne as wing-backs. Ndidi could replace Mendy as the holding midfielder (not that Mendy has not done a fine job in his absence). That is a defensive department as good as any in this division. We could adjust the rest to suit a more attacking (Under and Barnes supporting Vardy) or a more defensive philosophy as required. The only dark cloud above this is our over-reliance on Vardy for goals. I doubt that Iheanacho can ever up his game to become a worthy understudy (and Rodgers clearly doesn't think that Perez can do it) and that would leave us a little toothless in Vardy's absence...

It's a nice dilemma to have but you can't leave out Tielemans, his passing is sublime. Then you have Madison's creativity who can makes things happen out of nowhere, Barnes and Vardy running at the defences. Also need to fit in Praett somewhere.

I see that as our biggest problem currently as well. Vardy's scored six out of our thirteen league goals so far and won't go on forever playing like this.

I would say that for a side with hopes of breaking into the top six on a regular basis, it is a necessary dilemma to have. Players will have to get used to the idea that they are not going to play every game (particularly in a season like this one when European football places extra demands on the squad). Like I said, we can adjust the team and formation to suit different circumstances and tactical employment...

Apart from the final ball yesterday Tielemans, Praet and Maddison’s final balls since the start of this season and majority of games after lockdown has ended have been woeful. Really woeful. They have cost us badly in games where we have been on top. We aren’t even talking eye of a needle balls. Too rushed and often really sloppy. It’s a huge area for improvement. Albrighton managed the perfect ball with his 2nd touch yesterday. He’s had hardly any game time since the season started but managed it.

Don't know what games you've been watching. i guess if you're always looking for a negative you'll see one. Everyone makes mistakes.

Far from it. I’ve just not missed a game for a long time and as commentators, several forums and radio stations (and Rodgers himself) have said our final ball hasn’t been good enough. It’s been that way for quite some time. Tielemans as a player has made some serious improvements - not least his fitness - but his final ball since the end of 17/18 hasn’t been anywhere near as consistent. Praet messed up a glorious chance for Barnes yesterday and likewise Maddison for Vardy before the goal.

Maybe but compared to the "ball skills" of Slimani and Ian Nacho they look like gods.

Someone will have to make say probably Praet.

Plus there will be times this season when he will be used of the bench like Arsenal
