Fair comment, though being arrested and remanded, for that scale of criminal damage seems excessive. After all, the inflatable is supposed to be destroyed, though it is said that they are returned to France, possibly to be re-used.
Talking of thick, horrible criminals, lets hope the savage that dumped a baby in the sea, so he didnt lose his own place, is weeded out and dealt with in the severest manner open to the law.

He chose to be the ‘hero’ & now he’s being charged for it - that’s the bottom line.

Maybe he wants money from the gullible so he can move out of his Mum’s house & this is what he’s prepared to do - who knows?

Your 2nd paragraph will go over the heads of those here that are more than happy to see those on the boats drown & be killed. Fishermen who were at sea at the time say the boat carrying 30 migrants made a 999 call claiming they were sinking, but without giving a location.

This could have diverted rescue vessels to the middle of the Channel, where dinghies usually get into trouble, while the migrants made their way unimpeded to land at Samphire Hoe, near Dover, on Tuesday.

Border Security Command detained 21 migrants but the rest went missing, raising fears about the security risk from “uncontrolled landings” that enable migrants to evade the normal checks for small boat arrivals.

It was the second migrant dinghy to have landed undetected after a boat carrying five migrants reached The Warren, a rocky stretch of coast near Folkestone, on Monday. All five have been detained'
