Terrible sessions are costing us dearly this season. I recall Ponting alway stressing his focus on winning every session, or at least not losing any.
 
I think they know they are going to get a points deduction of 19, which effectively relegates them.The team they picked suggests that.Saving all their energy for the final.
Somerset areca string team with an international bowling attack, too good for us.

What is the points deduction for? 19 points seems a bit harsh considering what other teams have done and been docked less points for,

We got 19 points when we beat Glamorgan so the likely deduction we be all those points.
No mention yet about Surreys game with yorkshire which had lower scores than the county, but then again it is Surrey!!!.
ps. Glamorgan out for 65 and 69 against Warks today..
 
Notts 377, Hampshire 267-7 - Close
Sussex 393 all out, Surrey yet to bat - Close
Yorkshire 390, Essex 137-7 - Close

The points deduction will be the 19 we got from that game, if it's proved.
