Good ol’ Ron- how is he? Last time I saw Ron he was fixing new guttering on next door’s house. Lovely bloke- does he still drive that Datsun Cherry?😁

Games and maths master at Beaumont Leys school,always going on about how he scored a goal for City from the halfway line.
Used to deliberately kick the old wet leather ball as high as possible in the air and get one of the useless football players to try and head it.
Used to use the 3 foot board ruler to whack you over the backside 3 pupils at a time.
 
He taught for a while at my Junior School, (Humberstone) Jacko they used to call him. He wasn't that popular to be sure. Apparently he was a bit tactile, but in those days no one seemed to bother, except one parent who threatened make him walk bow legged for the rest of his life.o_O
