Rodgers out

No player is good all of the time.
Tielemans has made a fantastic contribution in terms of hours played and goals contributed.
Tielemans doesn't hide either. I cannot believe he's never rested but last night he wasn't given too many options ahead of him. Castagne looked for space wide right but Bertrand plodded around like an OAP.
Report in the i today.
" Perez was regularly given the ball with five yards of space ahead of him. You clamoured for him to to take on a defender, run full pelt rather than at a jogging half pace. But more often than not he would slope down the left wing, turn back and play a 15 yard pass into central midfield. And so the whole process starts again"
I'd be pissed off if I was Youri.
The Europa League is realistically our only route into Champions League and it seems like we've blown it.
He must be thinking I've won the FA Cup here but other trophies might be available elsewhere.

If you play shite, and bloody hell he has had poor games as well as good ones, then they will get questioned.

he's not playing shite. he might not be at his high level, but he's still consistently our best player, by some margin imo.
always available for a pass, always trying to make a progressive pass.
take him out, who do we have to move the ball from back to front.

Did the commentator last night say it was his 64th consecutive game for us?

No doubt the sages here will say he's still not not fit to lace the boots of Mark Wallington et al...

His record in Europe as a manager is not the best when you look at as an overall body of work. We don't have the strength in depth to phaff about in Europe and it's costing us.

But for me, Rodgers had become a little muddled in his thinking. I am yet to be convinced the summer signings have strengthed us at all or even just a little bit. I think genuine questions can be asked as to how we are getting more injuries to key players than at any time I can remember (this is anecdotal so I may be doing a disservice).

Scratch beneath the generally considered first XI the squad isn't quite as strong as anticipated. Who carries the can for that?

We need to get past Leeds at the weekend and then spend the next 13 days, resetting and getting back to basics. Clarity of thought is key for the remainder of this campaign.

Tielemans is not the problem. It’s usually the rest of the people around and in front of him, as we were reminded again last night. Pérez played like a fridge with a light that only came on after a few seconds wait. Bertrand isn’t made of Plastique, but Lead. Nacho had a mare, Saka wasn’t much better, and Sounare was doing okay until he was switched. Tempo is what gifted players like Tielemans and Castagne (And Vardy) thrive on, and they’re not getting it.

I don't need to name names, it's obvious. Usually ones who seem to post more when we lose.
I don't believe there is any Leicester fan who wants us to play in the championship, so who are they? Why are you refraining from calling people out ?
Show me a message board that doesn't attract more attention when it's team loses. Surely it's because they want success and they are worried about failure. Don't make you a true fan because you don't post as much after a defeat.

He was shite last night, and if you think differently you watched a different game to me.
Regarding being available and making a pass, fucking hell that's what he is paid for, I wouldn't expect anything less.
I don't doubt his abilities, he is a top player and I want him to stay, but I don't believe it's doing the club any good by having one of the best performers declaring he is ' open minded'.
I would say there is probably less than a 20% chance that he will start next season in. Leicester shirt.

very good observation about injuries, dint seem to get many in 2016. Theres conclusions to draw.

Rodgers is in trouble if he’s not willing to change his mindset which it seems he can’t.
Don’t forget what he came out with post Man Utd game.
That the international break had given him time to look back on how we were playing when he first came to us & he’d realised a few things. He was making out the penny had dropped
Nothing at all has changed.

Look at the injuries though most of them are impact ones that happen on the pitch you can't forsee those type of injuries. Like a few have said 2016 was a freak season for many reasons.

yes i think differently. he was not shite last night, far from it. sure, there were some misplaced passes, that are disappointing, but the alternative is a safe pass backwards (like 4 or 5 other players would have done). i watched the BT sport highlights on youtube this morning. they show 4 leicester chances, apart from the goal, and his pass is the key moment in three of them. you're targeting the wrong guy.

do i think he'll leave next year - i don't know. we've been down this road enough times to see where it could end. he's trying to get best deal, whatever that means to him. it could be (a) financially, or (b) to play in champions league. either way you can understand why he is waiting.

That's what he is paid to do. Like a quarterback, if he wasn't supplying the ammo he is not doing is job. I am not targeting him, just pointing out that he was shite last night, and he gave the ball away in good areas several times but they don't show those on the highlights do they ?

we'll have to agree to disagree. of all the players last night he (and timmy) are the least deserving of the label "shite".
i've seen shite. he wasn't shite.

"The responsibility will always go with the manager-you put the team out"
"The ability to press immediately within 5 or 6 seconds to get the ball is important"

Bendan Rodgers quotes !!

I'm fed up with "Rodgers out", he will always be remembered for winning our first F A cup, but he is not quite the complete manager, still learning his trade, he will come good when we become a force at home and in europe, there's no one else to better him unless you want the Pleat days again.

l don't think many want him out, maybe just want him to learn from his repeated mistakes and sort us out, if he can't then thats something else.
