Like I said homes in two countries can be pretty expensive.

Prior to covid, Mrs AFC and myself were thinking of returning to southern Spain pretty much full time, we have residency from about 12 years ago so we would need to see where that leaves us in the post Brexit era.

Technically it will have lapsed.

The Withdrawal Agreement only protects residency for those legally resident on 31st December 2020.
 
That would suit me, I would just rent a Villa tried having two properties but this way your not tied down
They now stamp your passport so they can check on the 90 days.

Residency is a lot harder to get now.
