Plymouth Match 01/09

[Prof]

I think this is the start of our season. A convincing 3-1 win tonight and the start of our charge up the table

Deadline day, so the lineup may be strange, I'm going for:

Stolarcyzk

JJ
Aluko (will be Souttar if he's still here)
Kangasniemi
McFarlane

Page
Braybrooke
Chaplin (if fit)

Howell
Bristic
Alves

2 for Bristic and 1 for Kangas.

[EMExile]

I think Thomas will be in as RM seems to believe he's discovered the new Terry Butcher.

tbf, he's looked better at CB than LB this season and better than okoli at CB too.

[Prof]

Stolarcyzk injured in the first minute!

Plays more like Pat Butcher

[Coatsworth]

Stolarcyzk injured in the first minute!

How ?

[LGFOX]

Stolarcyzk injured in the first minute!

Subbed. Freak injury

[Collibosher]

What the fuck are they playing at the back

[Prof]

McCarthy is stupid

[Collibosher]

And bobby Reid.....puts it wide

[astleyfox]

This is just fucking stupid.

[TTITH]

Too right this is not the division to piss about
at the back, anyway we are not good enough to do it

[Cowboy]

What a load of crap how far we have fallen

[Prof]

Ref is shit too. They are not being booked for some terrible fouls

1-0 Alves

[TTITH]

1-0 Alves

2-0 howell

[Collibosher]

Dink dank doo

[Chip kobb]

That was all thats needed move it forward quicker

[Prof]

McCarthy is frightening on the ball but Page,Braybrooke and Alves are a trio that could be magnificent for a decade.

[Prof]

Thomas has done a good job too

[TTITH]

I thought we were playing too close at the back and in the middle with little space to work with

[HuggyBear]

Aside from McCarthy who was never part of the plan I reckon that's the best 45mins of football I've seen at the KP in 2 years. Direct, forward looking, fast moving and everyone playing for the shirt

[Prof]

Definitely too close at the back. 2 yards between the players who don't have control skills is ridiculous. Page had the control but still better spacing needed.

[Collibosher]

I'm loving the young lads...fearless

Pity about the old fucker Reid.

[Collibosher]

Pity about the old fucker Reid.

Aye...bobby akinbiyi

[Bradnor]

Phew - stumbled over the line in those last 5 mins, some great saves from McCarthy, but a win was vital

[TTITH]

I'm loving the young lads...fearless

The maybe fearless but somebody has got to get a grip on this defence as the keeper has made too many blinding saves as people still cannot clear their lines

[Chip kobb]

Still not a fan of all the fxckin about just go at them and get a third/fourth

[Prof]

Page was tired at the end but he had a great game, same for Braybrooke. Alves should've stayed on, was fantastic. Most of the players had good games with the odd error. McCarthy can't play the ball out but he did make some good saves in the second half.
