Pivotal Week

For me these two games will change our season. We need a minimum of a win and a draw. Preferably 2 wins. If not the momentum has well and truly gone and I fear our season so far will be totally wasted. I’m concerned that without Ricky and Wilf that it’s going to be a hard task. Also missing the snail ( I can’t believe I’m saying this) isn’t good. We’re also light on midfielders as I assume Praet is out.
The only positive is I feel playing away from home will suit us more. The last two home games have been mirror images. The opposition have hardly had a shot but scored 4 goals and defended like lions.
Let’s hope tomorrow brings something like we did at Bournemouth, because I have no faith of us getting through the play offs if needed

The only thing I am clinging on to is that both are away. I fear the Hull game more, not sure why. Probably because Hull have beaten us once already.

Tomorrow against a reasonable defense do you think we have the players to penetrate because l don't, ball skills are at a premium
KDH is not firing, midfield is Hit and miss.
This is the defining match of the Season lose this and its the kiss of death and the end of a marvellous era of football

Get this week over with as many points as we can. The good news then is no league game for 3 weeks, by whence hopefully we'll have some key players back for the last 9 games

Pearson's Championship winning team 2013/14 Won 31 D9 Lost6 Pts 102

That team had leaders, they had steel and some tough fighters, there was no bottlers in that lot. They also had a great man manager, Pearson would not tolerate weak characters. Their last 12 games - Won 7 D4 L1, the 1-4 home defeat v Brighton was after they secured promotion and standards dropped that night, Twelve months on the core of that team turned it around from being rock bottom at the start of January to finish 14th. Enzo is a novice manager and does not know how to cope now his team and tactics have ben found out. There is no Kasper, Morgan, Marcin Wasilewski, to drive the team on, no David Nugent, Vardy was 27, a goal machine combination. Mahrez was showing what a great talent he would become and Knockeart had a brilliant season too. We know this team has talent but they only play one way and if they had just half of what makes Ipswich fight they would get the job done. But..... this team lacks real hard leadership, they fold when it goes against them, they look totally lost when the tide goes against them and Enzo seems unable to stop this. So I really hope I am wrong but Ipswich and Leeds will get automatic, only the brave win the play offs. Chances of being back in the PL at present 50/50?

How many attempts did that twat get??

In retrospect this is Enzos first season.

So put your wanking sock away Pearson wasn’t that great.

Everything has to come in and end if it is what a crazy period of success we have had. But Leicester being Leicester it won't be the end of the story.

Apparently they’re missing Clarke and Roberts, two of their main guys. Lost 4 on the bounce. What could possibly go wrong

I thought this when we played Boro. They had half a side out and were in terrible form and have lost every game since beating us aswell 😅😅 We’re always kept on our toes as fans at least

My main complaint is that they keep playing the Enzo way almost whatever the situation. This obviously comes from the manager but pretty passing football is great when you have a 2 goal lead, not so good if you are chasing the game or trying to close a match out.
Passing back to the keeper is a risky business, and I will be glad when goalkeepers are allowed to go back to being goalkeepers rather than Johan Cruyff. I also don't get the aversion to a back 4 with 2 big centre halves, and from time to time a long ball punted up front to a big striker. I think that the other teams have all sussed out the way that we play and the better teams have found how to beat us. Mix it up a bit and keep them guessing.
