Phil the Greek!

Why do people care?

Poor old Stanley in Castleford is on his way out, that’s not national news though is it.

Just as tragic for both families but why the is it news?

I believe (though I may be wrong) that it has something or other to do with Prince Philip being Consort to the Head of The British State. You know - that thingy we call a nation in which we all live, breathe, breed and build one of them whatsits like, ooh.......errr, a life! That's it! A life. You know, having a family, going down the pub, or if you're lucky popping off to the Turks & Caicos for a bit of whatever takes your fancy. Well anyway, Prince Philip is married to the extremely hard working lady who has given over her own life to ensuring that this little nation in the face of huge adversity, retains its respect within global circles and things like that, you know. I think that's why it's on telly, mate.

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the same reason as it was when Boris or Sir Major Tom were taken to hospital. Because he’s in the public eye, and has been for decades.

Well said that man

He's had a good innings. As they say.
Not many get the chance to roll over a top of the range Land Rover in their late 90's.

I'm more interested in the demise of the Cuckoo, Turtle Dove & Skylark.
If asked if i'd prefer to hear the Cuckoo this spring or meet the Queen, the Cuckoo would win every time even though the summer visitor is a parasite too.

My eldest lad worked for a while for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Charity, and that is indeed the code word for their plan if action when the day came
