Me & one of my lads were chatting about City selling players over the years, trying to remember who was the last ones to go to clubs, so called top 6 plus others so far…
Arsenal, Alan Smith?
Chelsea, goofy wanker
Liverpool, Heskey?
Man U, Maguire
Man City, Mahrez
Spurs, Maddison

Must be many many more folks?

Lineker - Everton ( champions at the time)
Clarke - Leeds (champions)
McLintock - Arsenal
Shilton - Stoke ( never understood that one)
Banks - Stoke
Nish - Derby
Savage - I’m joking!

Mad innit, over 50 years since the last player we sold to Wolves…
Palace, Schlupp
Southampton, Rodrigues
Sunderland, Piper
Any more they were the last players to move to other clubs from us?
Steve Corica - Wolves
Stearman - Wolves

How many of these players went on to bigger and better things after they left?

We were discussing this on here the other day but now we have a good list of players to refer to.

And managing Rothwell Town. Nicky's career peaked when he worked with me in a........................er hmmm mundane warehouse job.
Lovely fellow, but he pissed me off when he scored at Highfield road. It was one of Cov's goals in a 2-1 win for them in the 80's. Although I remember that game more for what happened off the pitch than on it !!!

Malcolm Manley to Portsmouth(1973) with a Football League career ending injury after only 11 games, South Africa,Australia and Barlestone St.Giles. 1969 FA Cup Final appearance as substitute on the Horse Of The Year ruined Wembley turf!
Bob Lee to Sunderland(1976)
Malcolm Munro to the Teamsters Union(1980)
