On This Day 2008

You showed more passion than the players, that day.

We were luck to get an equaliser, against friggin' Colchester.

Wasn't it Sheff Wed? I missed it all as I was in an airport lounge prior to flying out on a holiday. My phone went ballistic as folks from all stands texted me in floods of tears of laughter. 😁

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, Colchester, I remember mac letting a massive fart go, stopped the ShowSec in their tracks

Said this before. But the funniest bit was in the Black Boy about 11.30 that night when he was let out of Charles Street police station and rolled up to the boozer to face the wrath of his dear wife.
You could see the paint blistering and peeling off the walls of the bar at the back!
Fair dos to him though.
I remember writing a testamonial to the Court to say he was a good man really.
Hope it worked.

Sheff Wed was my 60th birthday celebrated mainly down the Gateway.
I had a loud hailer. And Mickey was there with a horse's head on.
Another milestone birthday ruined by LCFC.
Although my 50th wasn't too shabby beating Derby 4-0 at their gaff.

Nor did the club’s special guests that day, the two founder members of The Sweet, who can be seen sitting on the touchline to the left of the stewards.

Absolutely, Me and the late Dave Freer (Winged eel fingerling lookalike) are out of shot behind Mr and Mrs Showsec
