"United have other areas of their squad they’d like to address but, as things stand, they have centre-back as one of their priorities. So far, links to Varane have been intensifying - especially with the Real Madrid star’s contract at the Bernabeu due to expire next year. But, in a sudden new development, Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur has claimed United are primed to enter talks with Leicester over a deal for Soyuncu. "Continuing their search for a stopper, MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE PUT CAGLAR SOYUNCU ON THE TRANSFER LIST (my capitals)” he said on Twitter."

Eventually the BCCs will have so many decent but unexceptional players they’ll have to change their financial model

Soyuncu may be on their list, ie their radar, but he aint on the list of available players.
 
It’s interesting that there’s hardly a real transfer between the ‘big’ PL 6. Yes Matic, Mata, Milner etc. But not many big ones apart from Man City. Yet they all think it’s perfectly acceptable to put this crap in about the ‘lesser’ teams. I seriously think we should put a cheeky offer in for say Mané or Rashford. See how they like it.
I’m so pleased we scalped the Mancs for a full up front £80m. They had every chance to buy Söyüncü or Fofana but can’t be bothered. Makes me laugh
