Just seen a tick tock video of him completely out of it, presumably drunk, being held up by two guys at what looks like a Hotel somewhere.
The OB are investigating as he allegedly travelled a distance this side of the Scottish border.
If true its very sad..
 
Saw it earlier. looks like the guy videoing it called him a ginger caant as he was leaving. looked like it was about to kick off then the video ended.

He was always a caant around town at Fat Cats

He used to have Muzzy to calm him down and some minder geezer from the club who had to follow the silly caant around all night.

I remember one night where he was shouting the odds about some Everton player and how he was going to break his legs.

In the interest of balance, I should probably mention the time I saw Lennon in a bar in town on a Saturday night and (being drunk myself) found the courage to go up to him and start a conversation about that day's game (which we'd won). To be fair, he was a gent and chatted quite happily.

I don't get this need to judge and look down on others. Fuck me, we're all at least in our fifties on here, I can only imagine that we've all had fucking low points in our journeys where we've made bad decisions, or self destructed on purpose. Life is a fucking rollercoaster, there's highs and lows. Sometimes we're warriors and sometimes we're dickheads. But those bits, are just bits, they're not the whole person. You only know the whole person when the person stops being.

If he's that fucked perhaps he's not in a good place. Perhaps he needs love, not fucking judgement.
 
a) Without direct reference to the later (19th/20th C) organisations it's fenian, with a small 'f' - their cause should not be dignified by capitalising it.

b) You are right. Originally they were a mythical band of 2nd C warriors. But that is folklore. Gerry of course doesn't know that. He thinks history began either 800 years ago or 400 years ago. (He's somewhat unclear as to exactly when and to help himself to remember he's on a course of Baileys.)

c) They are an unrecognised and unofficial group committed to the overthrow of the British Crown, which is an officially recognised nation state. They are therefore by definition, terrorists.

The accurate bit is the course of Bailey's which hasn't helped at all.
The rest is wide of the buckin mark.

I realise that we are now way off the OP and apologise to those continuing the Neil Lennon thread, but this nonsense above requires the respondent to explain the flaws in an absolutely accurate post, which makes it 'wide of the mark'. (Except the bit about Baileys of course, when we all know that it remains a mystery as to how he has had so many efforts but failed, to drown himself in any given alcoholic beverage by now.}😁
