N'Diddi

I still reckon he looks awkward playing so far forward, if Praet was fit I could see him pushing for Wilf's place.
l do aswel, l think his strength in that position is closing down, nicking the ball in their half. On the ball and in front of goal hes crap.

"get the ball and give it to someone who can play". MON or Clough l think.
Applies to N'Diddi.

Was it MON. To.Savage

To be fair to Ndidi his new role is a work in progress like several other players. He has shown some deftness in front of goal and will hopefully improve under Enzo stewardship.🤞

Why do people keep thinking Praet is the answer? How many games has he actually been effective in?
Having said that when you see what Choudhury, Vestergard and Ndidi are doing under Enzo perhaps …..
Exactly this.

When many were rightfully moaning that we hadn’t offloaded as many over the summer, that Enzo has rejuvenated these players speaks volumes.

Easier to do in the second tier than the top table but he still had a big job on his hands that he accomplished quickly. It may give everyone a boost especially if we can keep this run of form going for much of the season.

I believe it was. According to Taggart on ‘Under the cosh’ MON gave strict instructions pre match not to pass the ball to Savage. He’s there to disrupt the opposition. Nothing more. 10 mins in and someone passes it to Lily. There’s nobody around him but he screws it up and it leads to a near goal for the opposition. At HT MON goes ballistic at the player who’d passed the ball.
‘ I told you very specifically DON’T pass the ball to him under any circumstances! But you did and they nearly scored’

I think that basically how it went

I think Praet MIGHT be the answer. Ndidi, Hamza etc have a longer stint to practice under Enzo. Ndidi is ok in the six yard box, but goal attempts from further out just cause damage to Row Z. If Praet stays after the January window then it will be interesting.

But have we seen him play in his most effective position??. After all an international can't always play his game in varying positions

This was Saturday’s bench according to the Beeb.
I was going by this quote from the manager...

“The way he’s playing is unbelievable,” Maresca said of Vestergaard. “I’m pleased. And probably this is the reason why this group is so special, it’s because before the game, Hamza, Conor, Wardy, Harry Souttar, they were the guys that were talking. All of them they were on the bench."
