Saturday I’m looking forward to a bit of Wicky Wacky from the Fatback Band and also seeing Oh My God it’s the Church. They’ve also got on the local Moseley band The Atlantic Players who are pretty good.

Sunday we’ve got The Wailers, Cameo and Earth Wind and Fire - what’s not to like.

You’re right of course but hopefully after two days of music, beer, grub and sun we won’t notice.

Note quite as bad as a friend of mine getting excited about Clearwater Credence Revival playing The Roadmender in Northampton. He hadn’t realised he had a touch of dyslexia.

Saw E W and F at Bingley hall Stafford in 1979. Rammed, hot, sweaty. Brilliant time. The effects were good too
